The owner, Mike Zengel, is an accomplished marathon runner with over thirteen years experience working in a running specialty store. Mike knows what it takes to perform at your best: he was the Southeast's runner of year in 1998 and placed second and third two consecutive years in the Atlanta marathon, the course for the 1996 Olympics.
Mike takes pride in providing the expert, individualized service you need. He can assure you that you have the proper, top-of-the-line shoes for maximum pleasure and an injury-free running and exercising experience.
Our staff uses a treadmill to analyze your foot strike and push-off to
recommend the proper shoes. The treadmill also allows you test
drive the shoes before you buy them.
Trail Runner magazine's October 2009 issue named Prescott one of the
country's best trail running towns. Mike was interviewed for
the article.
